The celebrity plugged, popular spa treatment known as colon cleansing might do more than drain your body of waste, it could drain you of good health.
Researchers at Georgetown University Medical Center conducted a comprehensive review of 20 studies published over the last decade on colon cleansing and concluded that such treatments do serious harm and no demonstrable good.
