Open Question: Where is a nice place to take the family camping in SW England?

We only have a few days to get away. We are in Bristol and don't want to go too far no more than 2 hours drive. We will be using a tent and we have a small dog and we would also like to build a fire. Apart from that were not fussy we're not glampers we just want to find a nice place place to get dirty.
